Your Questions Answered

What is the difference between cosmetic dentistry and biorejuvenation dentistry?

Cosmetic Dentistry is the process of making the teeth more natural, symmetrical, and beautiful. This process often puts esthetics first and function second. However, poor function is typically what caused the teeth to become worn, ugly and discolored in the first place. If the function is not optimized, the dentistry will fail in the long run. The BioRejuvenation dentistry process conservatively restores the teeth to their original, youthful shape while also optimizing how the mouth functions. Ultimately, patients who go through this process feel better, look better, and significantly reduce their need for restorative dentistry in the future. When patients choose BioRejuvenation Dentistry, they are taking a proactive approach to achieve ultimate dental health and wellness.

Do you provide general dental services at Focus Dentistry?
We are not your typical dental office. Our office is fully focused on helping patients achieve “Ultimate Dental Wellness”. With that in mind, our focus is on diagnosing and treating the entire mouth as one. We develop a complete plan to get patients back to health rather than treating one tooth at a time like most other dental offices. So, if you are looking for for an office to just get a tooth fixed or get a check up, we are not the place.
Do you offer consults to see if your office is a good fit for me?
We do offer a 1 hr consult at a charge of $300 to give you an idea of how we could help. This would also involve a quick look at your bite and jaw joints to get a better idea if our treatment protocols would be right for you.
Do you take insurance?
We do not accept any insurance plans and are not contracted with any insurance companies.
Why don’t you take insurance?
There are many reasons why we do not accept insurance, but the biggest reason is that we are focused on helping patients create ultimate dental wellness. With that focus, it requires a “Big Picture” approach in regard to diagnosis, treatment, and maintenance. Insurance companies don’t pay for this type of dentistry. They mainly just help patients pay to fix a few teeth each year. It is a “disease model” of dental health and patients who rely on treating only what insurance pays, usually find themselves having more and more problems as the years go by. Secondly, we believe that it is our job to provide each patient with the best long term treatment plans independent of what their insurance companies decide. We have our patients best interests in mind will the insurance companies have only their financial interests in mind.
